History
Our firm was originally established in 1928 and was formerly known as Keith, Reed Wheatley and Frenette. The name was later changed to Wheatley, Frenette & Dukess, and then Frenette & Dukess. After the retirements of Jeffrey W. Dukess and Henry N. Frenette Jr., we formed as Frenette & Associates, P.C. on October 1, 2013 and proudly continue to serve our clients with trusted legal services.
Our Attorneys
David P. Frenette

Attorney Frenette has served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, where he served on the board for 22 years. He continues to serve on the Board of HarborOne Bank, where he also previously held the position of Chairman. He has been on the board of the Old Colony YMCA since 1993 and was active with the Brockton Boys and Girls Club and the Brockton Rotary Club for more than 30 years.
His practice experience covers a broad spectrum of law with a primary focus on elder law, which includes estate planning and probate, Medicaid/Masshealth planning, and estate settlement. He has also represented businesses in various merger and acquisition transactions, representing both the selling and buying of businesses. Attorney Frenette has practiced real estate law for many years and represented several local banks, including HarborOne for 15 years as their primary closing attorney. Attorney Frenette is well versed in contract law having drafted many contracts for businesses as well as leases, employment agreements, and representing local businesses in a variety of matters. Attorney Frenette is married and lives in Easton, Massachusetts.
